Senator CORMANN (Western Australia) (16:11): I move that the Senate: (a) notes the Government's decision to delay the tax summit from June 2011 to October 2011; (b) considers that any genuine tax summit will properly review and report on Labor's proposals to introduce a national mining tax and a carbon tax; and (c) decides that no legislation to impose a national mining tax or a carbon tax be considered by the Senate until after the October tax summit has reported.
