Senator Johnston asked the Minister representing the Minister for Defence, upon notice, on 22 March 2011: (1) For the period 1 July to 31 December 2010, how many: (a) uniformed staff; and (b) civilian staff, resigned from each of the service areas (i.e. Army, Navy and Air Force). (2) For the period 1 July to 31 December 2010, how many: (a) uniformed staff; and (b) civilian staff, were made redundant or accepted severance packages in each of the service areas.
