Mr FRYDENBERG (Kooyong—Treasurer) (14:48): As I said in the House yesterday, there will be an impact on household consumption and on household savings. There will be an impact on wages. There will be a significant impact across the economy. But I want to point out to the member for Rankin that under this government the minimum wage has gone up every year, and the reality is— Opposition members interjecting— The SPEAKER: Members on my left! Mr FRYDENBERG: The Member for Rankin is getting angry. He is angry because he's irrelevant to the debate. He was talking down the economy before the crisis, he's now talking down the economy through the crisis and he'll be talking down the economy after the crisis. The Australian people understand and trust the coalition to manage the economy better than Labor ever will.
