Prime Minister, there are Australians who have invested under current taxation laws with regard to negative gearing who seek certainty. Mr SHORTEN: Prime Minister, there are Australians who have invested under current taxation laws with regard to negative gearing. Labor's negative gearing reforms have guaranteed no retrospectivity. These investors want to know, so I ask again: will the Prime Minister now rule out his government making any retrospective changes to negative gearing?
