I refer the minister to the Queensland Competition Authority's report into regulated electricity prices that states: 'Power prices will be around 8.5 per cent lower from 1 July if the carbon tax is abolished.' How will removing the carbon tax ease cost-of-living pressures for Queensland businesses and families?
