Mr ABBOTT (Warringah—Prime Minister) (15:09): While I am on my feet, could I add to an answer that I gave earlier today. In an answer earlier today I said that the Leader of the Opposition must have been out to lunch when the coalition said that we would scrap the income support bonus. I did the Leader of the Opposition a disservice. I am sorry about that. I really did do him a disservice, because the Labor Party knew all about our policy to scrap the income support bonus, because they were trying to scare people about it before the election. I am quoting from this document from Australian Labor: Labor is assisting families and pensioners through measures such as the SchoolKids Bonus, the Income Support Bonus … These are all measures that Tony Abbott … will cut should he be elected. Honourable members interjecting— The SPEAKER: The Prime Minister has the call. Members will desist. Mr ABBOTT: Labor's latest scare campaign is absolutely and utterly fraudulent.
