(2) The Senate adjourn without debate after the second reading debate has concluded on the bills listed in paragraph (1), or on the motion of a minister, whichever is earlier. (3) In accordance with standing order 57(3), divisions may not take place after 6.30 pm. This has been designed to facilitate the contributions on the National Anti-Corruption Commission Bill 2022. Some senators will not be required to be here, although they should see their whips about whether or not they are allowed to leave.
