Senator CORMANN: Pursuant to contingent notice, I move: That so much of the standing orders be suspended as would prevent Senator Cormann moving an amendment to Senator Patrick's motion. The PRESIDENT: That gets put immediately without debate, pursuant to the order we adopted. The question is that so much of standing orders be suspended as would allow Senator Cormann to move an amendment to Senator Patrick's motion.
