Senator URQUHART (Tasmania—Opposition Whip in the Senate) (12:27): At the request of Senator McAllister, I move: That the Senate— (a) notes that: (i) the Government legislated in 2014 to increase the superannuation guarantee to 12% by 2025, and (ii) the Minister for Finance, Senator Cormann, said in the Senate that the increase to the superannuation guarantee would be "specified and locked into the legislation"; and (b) reaffirms its commitment to the legislated superannuation guarantee rise to 12% by 2025.
