The PRESIDENT (10:01): I inform the Senate that on Thursday 19 September, accompanied by senators, I presented to the Governor-General the address-in-reply to his speech made on the occasion of the opening of the parliament. The Governor-General indicated that he would convey the address-in-reply to Her Majesty the Queen.
