Senator ANNING (Queensland) (12:33): I seek leave to make a short statement. The PRESIDENT: Leave is granted for one minute. Senator ANNING: I'd just like to address a few points that were raised over the last few days. Greens Senators Hanson-Young and Di Natale have accused me of making sexist and derogatory remarks. In the year that I've been here, I've never denigrated anyone in this place; nor will I. And I challenge them to point out when and where and to whom. Just because you yell a lie loud enough and for long enough, you expect it to be the truth. It's still a lie. Thank you. The PRESIDENT: I hasten to remind senators that there are restrictions on accusing other senators of lying. That's not a parliamentary term. If I misheard that, I apologise. Question agreed to. Original question, as amended, agreed to.
