Senator STORER (South Australia) (12:33): Minister Cormann stated that he's been having relatively little progress and luck with the opposition on this bill. He also reminded the Senate that the government stands ready to amend the Sex Discrimination Act, subject to reaching agreement with the opposition. If that's possible and he's not making any headway, I stand ready, along with the crossbench, to reach an outcome on your bill. That is my offer. I hope that the government is genuine and that the minister will take me up on it. I look forward to further discussion in regard to that. The PRESIDENT: The question is that the motion moved by Senator Di Natale to suspend standing orders be agreed to.
