Senator LEYONHJELM (New South Wales) (15:25): I move: That the Senate— (a) recognises that: (i) ordinary Australians are struggling financially – the cost of living is too high, (ii) the price of petrol is the highest that it has ever been and is a burden on ordinary Australians, and (iii) there are calls for a national fuel strike; and (b) calls on the Federal Government to immediately remove fuel excise to lower the cost of living burden for ordinary Australians.
