Senator McGRATH (Queensland—Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister) (11:50): I seek leave to make a short statement. The PRESIDENT: Leave is granted for one minute. Senator McGRATH: The coalition government today announced an investment of $2.17 million in projects to improve the lives of Australians who live with allergies. The funding will be used to back a range of projects identified as part of the National Allergy Strategy, which was developed by the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy and Allergy & Anaphylaxis Australia. Further funding is subject to further discussions about the National Allergy Strategy, noting that the government receives proposals and initiatives from a wide array of different chronic disease organisations. Question agreed to.
