Senator BERNARDI: In response to what Senator Chisholm suggested, for the benefit of the people at home I say that this motion merely quotes from senior Labor figures where they're contradicting other public statements. I've sought for them to clarify what their position is in regard to border protection policies, because what the Labor leader, the Labor leadership hopeful, the Labor deputy leader and so forth say are not consistent with the facts that Labor are stating in this chamber today.
