Senator McGRATH (Queensland—Assistant Minister to the Prime Minister) (15:49): I seek leave to make a short statement. The PRESIDENT: Leave is granted for one minute. Senator McGRATH: The coalition government recognises the role of advocates in representing people with disability. The government considers that all jurisdictions should continue to play a role in disability advocacy under the National Disability Strategy and, in line with the recommendations of the 2017 Productivity Commission review of NDIS costs, the government will continue to put this position to our state and territory colleagues.
