Senator SIEWERT (Western Australia—Australian Greens Whip) (11:52): I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move: That the Senate— a) notes with deep concern the high number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children in out of home care; b) acknowledges the urgent need to address this issue; and c) calls on the Federal Govermnet to show leadership and work with state and territory governments to ensure the implementation of Aboriginal Family-Led Decision Making is delivered in partnership with Aboriginal agencies.
