Senator XENOPHON: I, and also on behalf of Senator Rhiannon and Senator Conroy, move: That the Senate— (a) notes that: (i) at least 114 countries have banned foreign political donations, and (ii) Australia is not one of the at least 114 countries that ban foreign political donations; and (b) calls on the Government to support legislative changes to make overseas political donations illegal.
