The PRESIDENT (15:33): Senators, it is with deep regret that I inform the Senate of the death on 24 December last year of the Hon. James (Jim) Joseph Carlton AO, a former minister and member of the House of Representatives for the division of Mackellar, New South Wales, from 1977 until 1994.
